Louisa

Louisa is a bi-lingual writer and performer (Gaeilge and English) based in Dublin. In 2022, Louisa received an adult diagnosis of ADHD. She reacted in a way that perhaps confirms her diagnosis but throwing herself into writing a one-woman show (as Gaeilge and in English) that premiered as part of the Scene & Heard Festival (and sold-out). A trained musician, she infuses her comedic performances with catchy songs. She has studied and performed improv comedy at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York and has regularly played in bands during her 9 years of living and working abroad. 

Louisa is a regular contributor on Newstalk and has appeared on various shows on TG4. She is a passionate Gaeilgeoir and is raising her two young sons through Irish and French with the French husband she picked up along her travels.

Díolach amach a seó aonarch dé-theangach is dèanaí ‘Dopa-Mean Girl’ mar chuid den fhéile Scene&Heard 2023 agus beidh an seó le feiceáil arís mar chuid de Fringe BÁC 2023.
